We deserve so much better than this. No one should live in fear that their government is looking for opportunities to throw their lives into chaos—but that's the reality of the Trump administration. They don't care about working people—and we're all being harmed by their lawlessness.

All of this is happening because this administration will jump at any chance to harm immigrants, people of color, and women (who are the majority of child care providers)—even if it's based on internet conspiracy theories.

The Trump administration has now frozen federal child care funds to Minnesota and five other states (and are threatening more), potentially resulting in thousands of children and families losing child care with no warning.
