Yesterday was the most chill xmas day I've ever had and it was just what I needed. I'd cooked up a storm on xmas eve for my boys instead while they worked xmas day and spent time with their Dad's family.

I am not sure where to find a photo of the boy we lost many many years ago but I am still brought to tears at times. And then there was Max

I located the Jerusalem Artichokes, which I'd forgotten about, and were under a grass and weed forest.

Two buckets of limes gathered up and the rotten ones are being mowed into the lawn. It smells divine.

Surprisingly productive so far

✅️ Sheets stripped and soaking

✅️ Vacuumed

➡️ Dismantle and wash previous lego flowers

Actually picked up the camera and played with it. Learning about film recipes for the Fuji. This is Reala.

BBQ tonight. I've not used the ProQ for a while. I've been relying on a degree of automation/laziness with the gravity fed BBQ for the last few months but that has thrown a fit about power supply.

Wagyu beef short ribs and St Louis cut pork ribs. I've done a side of macaroni cheese to bbq too.

I'm having a really crappy time in my life right now. If only sunshine and coffee were actually magic I'd be fine

Due to my struggling with decision making regarding restaurant options we're going to see if we can get lucky and get a table at El Matador again tonight. Last night's tapas were amazing and I'm sure there is more for us to try.

I'm in Wellington with Mr18 for Uni open day. It was very cool to see where he'll be being creative and finding his people, but hell his Mama's heart is hurting a bit knowing he'll be so far away.

He's gonna be fine, in fact he'll be great, but oof these life stages for a Mama!
