Yesterday was the most chill xmas day I've ever had and it was just what I needed. I'd cooked up a storm on xmas eve for my boys instead while they worked xmas day and spent time with their Dad's family.

It turns out I may have timed my 5th covid vaccine perfectly. 12 days after it I tested positive, which I had seen coming after sitting next to someone all day Friday who let me know they were positive Sunday. This ride is a lot easier than my first round but still not fun.

I'm in my second bout of covid and when you get your text response about your positive test result, the link is broken. Even when you know how to edit the link it still doesn't take you there

I know the behaviour of my parents should never surprise me, but I would have thought that after such a shit year with losing my sister, that they would have at least made an attempt to attend their grandson's 21st.

A friend's son is in hospital after having his drink spiked when out last night. He almost died and was admitted to ICU and vented. I can't imagine, don't want to imagine, how scary that has been for his parents and whanau. He's on the improve now but the outcome could have been so very different 💔
