I usually prefer to write standalone novels! The last time I wrote more than two books set in the same world was ten years ago! Now I’m bumping up against 90k words and only just reaching what was SUPPOSED to be my inciting incident. I’ll be lucky if my planned secondary MC shows up by 100k!!

Sitting down in soft pillows curled into something resembling a fetal position so my abdominal muscles can fucking relax did, in fact, at least alleviate some of my physical pain. Would recommend
