Blizzard, you're always finding ways to drag me back into the game. The paladin plays great! I'm having a lot more fun with it than I did the Crusader in Diablo 3.

Of course I had to choose the sentimental option for the first go around of this. Maybe I'll do a braggy one in the future, but the heartfelt goodbye felt the most appropriate given all of the emotional and sentimental (or not, in the case of Lidamorrutu) dialogue of everyone else at the camp.

I've been waiting literally more than half my life for this moment. I'm going to spend months playing The Sims in Azeroth.

I remember thinking it was cool that the game had no software renderer, as it was one of the early games to require a GPU. Those requirements really take me back though. 8 megs of VRAM is incredible by modern standards.

Aethmal has had quite the journey through WoW. Human Paladin -> Undead Warrior -> Night Elf DK -> Void Elf DK. But despite his RP history, this is the first time I've spent any time with him as a Blood Elf. It's been fun experiencing the character this way.

These deathmasks they added for this year's Day of the Dead are really cool. Although they do highlight how Blizzard needs to figure out that hair morphing tech they were talking about previously, as they clip through a lot of hairstyles pretty bad.

Back during TBC, Seralin was a Blood Elf alt meant solely for experiencing Quel'thalas. It remains one of my favorite areas in the game, and since Aethmal was stuck being an Undead, she provided the perfect view into that part of the world.

I created Aethmal in 2001 and Seralin in 2002. They both started out as characters for EverQuest, but have been my main OCs for most everything since. There's also an extended family tree of characters that I dip into regularly, but never with the frequency that I come back to Aethmal and Seralin.

Hades 2 is a much better game than the original, but it still suffers the same pain points for me. By the time I'm ready to focus on the last boss, I'm bored of the process to get to him. 30-45 minutes of gameplay that starts to put me to sleep, just for a few minutes of fighting.

Legion Remix giving me the perfect opportunity to go back and play as Aethmal and Seralin in their pre-Void Elf days. Great opportunity to lean heavy on that Blood Elf background, with the wonderful heritage armor available to them.

For whatever other issues Liquid Glass has (I do like it overall), the mismatch in window border radius between apps compiled against macOS 26 and those that are not bothers me the most.
I know it will work itself out in the long run, but my eyes just can not unsee it whenever it's on my screen.

For whatever other issues Liquid Glass has (I do like it overall), the mismatch in window border radius between apps compiled against macOS 26 and those that are not bothers me the most.

I have mixed feelings about the light greatswords in Elden Ring. Their damage is good, and the combos look beautiful. But you really have to commit to the combos, which can be difficult against any enemy with a lot of poise.

More often than not, survival games do not click with me. But there is something about Dune: Awakening has made it an incredible experience so far. It has become a wonderful game to relax to, just exploring the desert of Arrakis and building up my home base.

I did not progress nearly as far this season as I usually aim to, but next season will be better. At least a little bit.
Maybe I can fit Aethmal in to more Mythic+ and raiding next time around.
