I know that Brian Ulrich was a massive fan of the Tick before we worked on the game. He was the studio head and had final creative say on the game - not sure if he was in touch with the creator in anyway.

No - the Saturn was still a year away when we wrapped up “The Tick” I think (enough time for us to do “Foreman for Real boxing” on the mega drive before staring on a volleyball prototype on the Saturn at least.)

I'm game - but, would what is possible today be a better experience than what we _thought_ we were experiencing back then?
Same with movies: I know that young me was more amazed by Ray Harryhausen's skeletons than I am by the dragons in 'Game of Thrones' (which are, to be clear, also amazing)

That is a good read, but for many, "The penguins fraudulently voted in the Wisconsin Supreme Court Race, and we must respond" is a much easier message to digest.
