Following the news and trying to make sense of it. Definitely not easy these days.
Gosh that seems so unreasonable to me. If they're spending that much time to get somebody fired, you'd really think that people just need to get a life. lol

I'm so old that social media wasn't even a factor when I was in college. How does the professor list work? What do they actually do to the professor that they don't like?

How long does the "vigorous oversight" take? Weeks?
December 1, 2025 at 2:24 AM
Poor thing says that God created men with womanly desires in their hearts. I know she didn't mean that, but that's what she said. lol

I know this sounds morbid but how is it possible that he's NOT still binge drinking every single day given the way he acts?
December 1, 2025 at 1:55 AM
How do you think the Senators and Representatives that are doing the oversight investigations will think about this?

How do you think Susie Wiles will feel about this?

He's probably drunk tonight, spiraling. God bless him and everything, but Jesus fucking Christ.

This is not true in most places. It varies based upon when you got your education and which state or country you live in. There are registered nurses without a bachelor's degree in many places.

It could also mean that he had a full body MRI, such that he doesn't know exactly what they were looking for because they did the whole thing. Those aren't very common though, and are only used to look for a few specific conditions. Pheochromacytoma-paraganglioma, for example. I had one for that.

I didn't think this could be real. What the hell is wrong with him.

I know a very small and exclusive Catholic school that has really strong science programs that are as good as any despite literally being taught by nuns and lay religious, and yet this here is a state school doing this? Everything feels backwards.

Remember those reports that the architect was butting heads with him trying to explain that it couldn't be as big as he wanted it to be? This post reads like the architect either quit, or he fired him. I wonder what the case is.

If Trump was truly not involved, he'd be stupid NOT to yeet Hegseth ASAP.

I don't know either way but I could easily see Trump being completely unaware in that moment because he was busy painting things gold, getting transfusions, researching the Village People, or whatever else he does all day.
November 30, 2025 at 10:56 PM
I agree. I'm skeptical of the Republicans too but I also think if nothing else this is clearly targeted messaging toward Hegseth and Trump both, but mainly Hegseth.

Even if they don't ultimately have the votes to impeach Hegseth, by investigating they are saying, "We see you."
November 30, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Not saying they aren't dangerous because they are. But it seems they are too dumb to be effective authoritarians. Hegseth doesn't know what planet he's on, Noem out here basically implicating herself on national TV, while Patel vows to search for a perp who's already been arrested. Like...OK.
November 30, 2025 at 10:46 PM
This is why nobody has been dramatically and publicly fired this time. They all know the dirt on each other and the first one to be banished is going to try to yeet some of the others. Hegseth and Patel in particular seem like they could really cause some damage to the likes of...everyone else.

Now that you mention it, just seeing "6-3" mades me think of that as well, and I'm not even a lawyer.
November 30, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Thank you, I remember that civil contempt is the one that actually can lead to for non-compliance because it seemed backwards to me when I first learned that.

I'm serious however I'm visually impaired, so maybe I missed something. I parse information differently, I was looking for examples so that I could read about the ones that were not prosecuted.
November 30, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Sorry, just trying to joke about such a light-hearted topic while the rest of the world burns down
November 30, 2025 at 7:34 PM
I want to eat that!
November 30, 2025 at 7:32 PM
At first I thought he was trying to defer due to the investigation ongoing, but then I also thought, "Wait, is he signaling to Hegseth?"

The way he talked about it so matter-of-factly is outside my capability. I would be apoplectic.

Those who make decisions about which politicians to have on the show don't understand prices anyway. They earn enough money that they don't have to worry about it. They are in-on it with these insolent privileged twats.

Put them with a local newspaper or high school reporter and it'll be different.

I thought Brett Baer was my old lesbian ceramics teacher. I miss her.
November 30, 2025 at 7:25 PM
I don't disagree, but he probably doesn't have that independent thought. The billionaires probably tell him that's why he likes it. lol
November 30, 2025 at 7:23 PM
I don't watch the actual shows and often don'teven click on the clips because it's all so performative and dumb. The interviewers appear not to have any original thoughts at all.

The only reason they are emphasized is because Trump is known to watch them because he's a crotchety old man.
