Wha do yall think affected comics more to become second to manga? Comics running on a monthly schedule compared to manga usually being weekly, manga being easier to read on a phone in terms of format and ease of access, or the meme of lacking of an easy and quick starting point? Something else?

You know, while I don’t hate the sequel series, heck I even like them, I wouldn’t mind Star Wars completely ignoring them lol fuck it, retcon gallor. Its just such a bad direction for the universe to go imo. They just felt like 3 different movies that feature the same characters and not a trilogy.

I know people want to keep trying to convince Larian to drop AI, and you can keep voicing your displeasure, but at the end of the day this “indie” studio will just look at their revenue statements to determine how much they care.

I’ve come to learn these last few years if someone says one singular person wrote a game, I don’t believe them. How many times have this been said and then later “oh hey that one thing everyone likes? Yeah this other person wrote it.” I feel like game writing is one of the worst credited areas.

I’m not sure why but I feel like Asian studios are much more quickly on the uptake of using AI and they use it much more openly than Western studios. Or maybe it’s because of gachas specifically. Cheapest output for the highest return I guess
