It is a consequence of intentional editorial decisions about what "news" to cover and what to largely ignore that Trump's recent decision to have people across the U.S. get cancer, developmental diseases, become infertile, and die is not felt as a "public safety" emergency.

At 150 nautical miles from Gaza, about 20 drones are hovering overhead. Multiple naval vessels have been spotted, with reports of an imminent interception by Israeli vessels.

Last week, in the briefest moment of decency, violently throwing a woman to the floor was “beneath the men and women of ICE.”

For example, in 🇬🇧, if you're chosen to decide whether someone is guilty of supporting "illegal" Palestine Action, and in 🇺🇸, if you have to declare whether Luigi Mangione is guilty of murder (or even of carrying a concealed weapon).
