It will catch up with them eventually, award in hand ⚡

Beats me how this one's still alive...

Looks great there. Love the bike vallet scheme and that car-free space with bike parking/lockers – there's a real gap in the market most places for reliable secure 'bike hubs'. I miss the #e-cargo #bike I rode as a courier - you can get so much done with them.

Ah yes, he's another 'keen cyclist' like that #Ediz bloke. How long will it take before he realises that cycling, walking and public transport is the solution to his problems?

A thing of beauty, lots of silvery parts.
Those tyres are sublime 🤌

What were those thumbshifters?

💯 !

Definitely! Bit niche, but it's good that people are doing their own thing on bikes and in fine style.

Needs a launcher on it 👍

Why is the question only ever "how can we rip even more cash from our fans?" and not "how can we attract more people to the sport and give better value to existing fans at ticketed events?"

Glad it's not the covid. Hope you'll be feeling better soon.

Steel will always be real, and 26 ain't dead either!

Also, I ride Oury Grips or DMR Sect grips which aren't slippy in the wet.

Not used studded/spiked yet. Have run aggressive knobbies at squidgy pressures.

Use a firmer low profile saddle with less padding so it won't become sodden.

Decathlon have some ponchos on offer at the mo.
Thinking of one wearing when I'm at my allotment...

Don't get caught out by the rain. Your compact, waterproof poncho will follow you anywhere and stores easily in its front pocket. Do not use in…

Always loved the huge 'musical' Dutch bell, that was fitted on an Urban Arrow I used to ride...

Fingers crossed 🤞🤞 !

Solidarity with that. I was called 'Trip hazzard' for a while.

Yeah. The pedal slip injury happened like a decade ago. However, the skin on that shin took months and **lots** of antibiotics to stabilise. Since then it's been susceptible to reinfections whenever I catch it on anything. But it's far from being the worst bike-related injury I've experienced.

very !
December 4, 2025 at 9:13 PM
With the DMRs, I can hop on/off easily – something I appreciated during my courier days.

I'm quite respectful of pedals now. I got Cellulitis in one shin after cheesegrating slipping in the rain.
December 4, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Still have some old Shimano DX cage pedals, which I fitted PowerGrips to, but haven't used for decades.
