"Bait bikes". When I reported my bike stolen from an office (with cctv) based on a council site (with cctv), the police closed my case 24 hrs later citing not having the time and resources to investigate the cctv. Police can't even be bothered with existing bike theft or supporting victims of it.

This is closing the stable after the horse has bolted. Bicycles are being stolen right now and the Police just cannot be arsed with stopping the crime or helping victims of bike theft. They do not have the time or resources to investigate as it is, let alone putting energy into a bait operation.

Also, exactly this as Zoe Kennedy said: “The presumption that cyclists aren’t disabled is prevalent. I cycle because of my disability, and I would struggle to use those steps and a ramp.”

It's my favourite time. I'm really not a hot summer person. I prefer the freshness, quality of light and colour autumn brings. Also, the feeling of calm it brings too.

Glorious. I'm watching this again for supper now. Was too groggy to appreciate it this morning (fruit n oats funnily enough+massive flask of coffee). Absolutely immersive stereo effect with that soundtrack and vibe of rolling through sunlit woodlands.

Most of my kit is Endura. Been buying their stuff since 2012. Virtually lived in it when I worked a few years as a bike courier, as it's comfortable yet bombproof. It's pricey though, so I could only ever afford it when discounted.

Case in point is the way trusts have been acquired and now corporately managed. My GP loathes it as he's lost autonomy. Complains each time I see him - which is rare now, as appointments are hard to book - done solely via the online e-consult system for approval (can no longer book by phone).
