Bike parking right next to the supermarket entrance and cycle lane. Not hidden, not second-class, but prioritised. Want more people to shop by bike? Then make it an easy and accessible option. Convenience drives behavior.

Ambulances are a good thing aren't they? Saving lives, etc. But they are very expensive. So why waste them on the 15,000 casualties on England's 30mph roads which could be avoided if UK Gov followed Wales/ Scotland by setting 20mph as an urban/village norm.www.20splenty.org/gb2024stats

Another outcome for which the Kremlin worked, lest we forget. Described in "Road to Unfreedom."
Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

What followed was anything but. Today, the company carries almost £7bn in debt. Our rivers are polluted, our bills keep rising, and we’re told to pay still more..."

The link goes to a campaign with four strands. One of the strands is, of course, bus stops and continuous footways. I am so exhausted with the nonstop idea that cycling represents the greatest threat to humanity and needs to be designed out of existence but cars and driving is just a fact of life.

I don't know how any Starmer supporters can defend him. His 10 pledges in the Labour leadership election were basically Corbyn's manifesto then he ditched them all instantly and became Nigel Farage instead. He is SO obviously a liar, and that's not even the worst thing he is.

Ken Murphy is Tesco’s UK CEO and the highest paid supermarket boss.

He gets £9,930,000 a year, but is registered to pay tax in the Republic of Ireland.

Not a penny of his outrageous salary is collected in tax, despite almost all Tesco’s earnings coming from the UK.

It’s theft.
