Respond to this consultation and urge them to commit to a strategy for healthy travel that is bold, credible and properly funded.

Norfolk’s leaders chose not to intervene. Residents paid the price. People removing flags now face abuse, racist harassment and organised groups appearing on the streets.

139 flag complaints received by the county council, but FOI shows only one was removed. Hundreds were left to residents who faced intimidation and a serious assault when trying to remove them.

De Snelbinder cycle bridge. Opened in 2004, attached to the side of an existing 1879 railway bridge, it runs for 2km linking Nijmegen to Lent by bike, alongside trains. Same crossing, different century. This is what decades of serious investment in cycling and sustainable urban planning looks like.

Interesting what Crick notes.

Farage like Mogg and Johnson are really just grown up versions of their teenage selves. Lots of public school boys leave fully formed - and armed with an entitlement and a sense of empowerment that takes them through the rest of their lives.
On why Farage doesn’t apologise for his schoolboy racism:
“if he apologised, he would be turning to his own support base and saying, ‘You’re all guilty too.’ ”
Exactly.
He is racist. So are his voters. He can’t be pissing them off by saying sorry.
