Has @tomflood.bsky.social seen this real life thing the government in Ireland pushes on 8 year olds? It's like a civil servant saw one of his posters about the things kids have to do to accommodate motorists versus motorists' obligations and thought "yeah, that should be in the curriculum"!

Just like Trump's racism barely warrants a mention anymore because it's "normal," ICE brutally abducting people is quickly becoming normalized. It's not "new" anymore and there's no longer an angle of political conflict.
The fact that mainstream media stopped covering ICE kidnappings in LA isn't because ICE stopped kidnapping (they didn't)
Or ICE slowed down (they have actually increased their tempo)
Or that resistance to ICE slowed down (it never stopped, it grew)
It's the "political showdown" that stopped.
