Do you think parents might have a reason to want to know whether their kids are going to be randomly teargassed by masked goons

AOC saying that you're losing healthcare to fund fascist thugs is about the best things dems have right now message-wise. It should not be anomalous for a congressperson to make an obvious connection like this instead of endlessly droning about "affordability" but it kind of is.

I do think AOC is a generational talent but what she's doing here - quickly drawing the connection to two obvious, outrageous scandals - shouldn't be difficult. It takes ten seconds to have infinitely better messaging than every dem senator droning on about their poll-tested idea of "affordability."

It should not seem like a generational talent to be able to quickly draw the connection between two things like this, but amongst the current crop of establishment figures who seem fundamentally incapable of or unwilling to talk about anything beyond a vague notion of "affordability" it kind of is

Jonathan Ross is a 10 year ICE veteran. He's not "poorly trained," he's well-trained to be a psychopath.

"It obviously bothers him and perturbs his already terrible health" is as good a reason as any to go for impeachment. Boohoo we don't have the votes. Grow up and make a disgusting old man's miserable life more difficult.

Stephen Miller is the driving force behind most of this. He is unelected and, unlike Trump, his hatred is not tempered by even a mild desire to be liked. He doesn't care at all about the future of the GOP.

9/11 was at least a tangible, massive tragedy that affected everyone, regardless of the appropriateness of the cultural response. Charlie Kirk was a podcaster most people have never heard of and resented what they were basically forced to learn.

The juxtaposition with Walt's ending was great. He may have had his blaze of glory but BCS made it clear he was a miserable jerk until the end, while Jimmy actually did have a meaningful redemption arc.

Vibecoding sounds like something the most annoying 45 year old of all time would use to try to engage 20 somethings. Which I guess is LinkedIn.

Axios more or less exists to report petty gossip in congress, particularly among dems. I don't doubt that this is a sentiment amongst at least a few centrists but their reporting is also deliberately provocative and not very useful.

Countries like Columbia and Mexico, directly in the crosshairs of further US aggression, are making the most principled and straightforward statements on the matter. Congressional leaders who face no harm whatsoever are shriveling up.

The main foreign policy difference between the GOP and dems is the GOP doesn't care when the president commits war crimes without their approval, while dems really want to be able to rubber stamp the war crimes beforehand

If you were alive and cognizant in 2003 and your reaction to yesterday in any way factors in that Maduro was a "bad guy" you shouldn't be able to vote anymore
