Saying things like this gives me the same vibe as people who are like "oh like we're even going to have elections again!" It's a very real possibility, but more likely than not we will. It feels more like a cover for not doing the work of finding a candidate who doesn't totally suck.
that whole 'this country isn't ready for a woman president' line is really upsetting because it shows exactly how neoliberalism works, redirecting blame from issues of policy (or lack thereof) onto a flattened, vague type of sexism in a way that ultimately doesn't even challenge sexism!

Being an elder millennial is a mixed bag, mostly bad in terms of cataclysmic world events I suppose, but we really lucked out in terms of when the internet hit us. Our median poster is merely insufferable and not insane.

A thing Zohran & his campaign have powerfully tapped into -- and that his scavenger hunt captures so perfectly -- is that a vast majority of the people who live here genuinely *love* New York City. We wouldn't stay here otherwise!
