@muricanfcpod.bsky.social MNs attack looked very dangerous in this one. They needed some more quality tho as a lot of the great buildups fizzled out at the finish. Good VAR on the handball PK. LA get another goal from Christian Ramirez and manage to steal a road point. They should feel lucky.

At least the big money put on Evander seems to be worth it. Celentano looked good. ATL with a road point

I don’t feel like it makes a difference as we will still be talking about inches just from the opposite perspective of still being On instead of Off #AskTheMFer

@muricanfcpod.bsky.social I was trying to figure out the Bruce Arena thing and saw what he did (while I was away from following the league) with the Revs which was super impressive given the state of the club when I last followed closely. I see the appeal to SJ to want to replicate that.

@muricanfcpod.bsky.social in the west, VAN is playing the best all around and being the leader in the conference in goal differential supports that. I like SDs style of play and they find ways to put the ball in the net. Not finding the net is the reason MIN are not higher but play very similar.

@muricanfcpod.bsky.social I think you were spot on with your analysis in the East. Union are so fun to watch and the players feel it too. Miami hasn’t played pretty, but get results. And Crew have frustrated teams, played their game, but still don’t have the a go to scorer. They need one to stay up.

@muricanfcpod.bsky.social solid road win for SD. RSL is not any easy place to play and they withstood an onslaught at the beginning and found their rhythm. Second goal was beautifully timed. See if they can build on that win at home next week. As a Crew fan. I hope not but mid week might help them.

@muricanfcpod.bsky.social LOVE a Precourt L especially when it’s also a Rapids road win. I think VAR decision on Austin’s goal was tough. Angles were tight but I think even without the offsides call it gets overturned due to the jersey pull. Second VAR was absolutely correct. Not a foul.

@muricanfcpod.bsky.social DC might finish higher in the East than you thought. Benteke is a real threat and he gets LOTS of service. Won’t be long before more of them start going in the net. SKC can’t hold on for a road point after leading and give up a terribly blatant penalty. Not a good look.
