The horrifying acts of this admin’s militarized immigration enforcement in Minneapolis, Portland, Chicago and cities nationwide are not about safety. They’re about power, and they’re putting innocent working people in danger.

These harmful, violent federal actions must end.

Costs are rising on everything — people can’t afford for their ACA health insurance bills to explode, too.

But Congress can fix this. It’s time for lawmakers to put working people first and end this health care crisis.

AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Fred Redmond is right: democracy depends on rules that keep it fair.

That’s why our labor movement fought so hard to pass the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act, and why we’re still organizing and mobilizing to defend those rights for all.

Health insurance is a human right. The fact that the Republicans won’t act to protect Americans from these price hikes speaks volumes.

Vote.
We’re asking lawmakers to put themselves in the shoes of working people. Imagine getting notice that your health insurance costs will more than DOUBLE.

Where do you cut costs? Rent? Groceries? Child care?
