Aridhel/Cullen - Cullen fell before Ari, but only slightly, because it took them both a minute to see things for what they were.

Aridhel/Lucanis - pretty mutual because of their past history. Meeting again after like 15yrs, under duress, and Lucanis is like: "Oh, he's WORSE? Perfect."

This one is from a #dincobb fic I'm revisiting after starting it over three years ago. #themandalorian
“Yes.” The thought left Din's mouth before he had time to clench his teeth down on it. Cobb's face fell a little, as if he expected what Din had meant to give: deflection, argument, maybe even the safety of a lie. He appeared unprepared for Din to relent. “We’ll stay. Yes, we’ll stay.” Din tried to course-correct the direction of his agreement’s intent, though he guessed Cobb didn't buy it for a second. Yes, I am lonely, but I cannot let you be the answer to it. “Come on, then.” The home was appealing in its unpretentiousness. The living area and a small kitchen sank a few steps down from the entryway. Of the modest furnishings, there was a rust-coloured couch where Cobb made the suggestion of setting the child to sleep more soundly. In an oddly parental gesture, Cobb even fetched a spare blanket and tucked it around the child himself. He gestured silently for Din to follow him to a narrow room that housed the sonic shower.

In measured steps, Felan strode around the garden’s colonnade, eyes a sharp, white flash in the light of candelabras before he walked a cobbled path between Inquisition banners and squat, amber-leaved shrubbery. They were surrounded by a deeper darkness towards the middle of the courtyard where firelight couldn't quite reach them. The faint glow of one of the moons overhead painted shadows into the hollows of Felan’s gaunt features. He looked like shit, like he'd lived years past his twenty-four in the fistful of months since the Conclave disaster. Aridhel still wasn't used to his hair being short as it was—a shock of white hung over Felan’s left eye, leaving the scars that slashed through his right brow and down the side of his nose exposed. A reflection altered beyond past self-recognition. He wanted to reach out to Felan. Aridhel wanted his touch. He wanted to run. Instead, he paced.

I've never worked a job where I've had to make up my own title (at least twice) because no one knew what the hell to refer to me as when I took on more & more. 🙃

When my venue needs to post my position I hope they use one of my joke titles from Slack: "Some Type of Manager."

It's nearly 1:30am and I'm having thoughts about an abandoned #dincobb fic I wrote 3-4yrs ago that I could probably edit into something for October 30th 🙃
