The Vampire Lestat book is truly something. Lestat is more interesting & nuanced than the first book portrayed. Anne Rice really fall in love with him as time went.

I understand people feeling how they feel about Marius but now that I’m into his part of TVL I can’t believe people actually skip that part. Like you don’t want to learn about the vampire lore and how they even came to be in that particular universe.

I love this show!
I’m 5 minutes into Matlock and the way they’re breaking the fourth wall is so good partly because there’s a certain thrill in making direct eye contact with Kathy Bates.

I’m on the children of darkness section of tvl and why have y’all been leading me to believe that it’s Armand who says “the power of satan will blast you into hell”…that is someone who Lestat refers to as “the boy”..anytime he is talking about Armand he says “the leader”

I just started TVL and I like how Lestat narrates lol. I can almost hear him saying it. It sounds like someone who was born in the 1700s, went to sleep in the 1920s, and then work in the 80’s.

The Vampire Lestat is 550 pages??? I just got my book and what the hell lol. But it’s amazing that IWTV and TVL books look the same size but one is like 200 pages more.

Why didn’t y’all tell me the scene between Armand and Madeleine in the show is actually between her and Louis in the book? But I guess since it comes out Armand was mind controlling Louis(in the book) at that time it makes sense they would change it in the show.
