In my case it's X-Files, but I feel you. 😎

Didn't know about the audio adaptations! Curious now.. 🔥

I remember when Luther Arkwright came out - it was a big deal!! I've been holding onto this Breccia volume for almost 6 years now, and it beckons me....
Perramus: The City and Oblivion
Fantagraphics collects the graphic novel Perramus — winner of an Amnesty International prize — in English for the first time. This graphic novel follows the existential odyssey of a political dissiden...

Plus I really am interested in SOLENOID, but it also terrifies me. 😂

Ha! I saw the movie and read the Bill Sienkiewicz comic adaptation. I'm approaching it as a collection of esoteric essays, not a 'tale.' I'm also behind on my graphic novels, I used tor read them voraciously, but now lagging on all fronts. Ugh. So my chapter a day is a plot against my laziness.

Holy smokes, that's a nice variety! I barely cracked one book a month this year. But, I finally started Moby Dick and set my eyes on one chapter each weekday, so ... 27 weeks from now I should be done. ;)

Watch out for the droogs! 👀🥛

Yeah, the novelty kind of dried up for me, watching someone deliver cute observations on an empty stage. This one is kind of Pee-Wee doing Thundercrack, with bizarro animation and bodily fluids. More performance art than jokes.

I feel you. I quit stand-up specials about 4 years ago. 5 minutes on a late show is too much, sometimes.

Saw the new Sarah Sherman HBO special. If you like underground comix, overdosing on pharmaceutical grade hallucinogens, and the Kuchar brothers... it MIGHT be for you. 👀 #SarahSquirm #SarahSherman #JohnWaters

Beyond description. I'm kind of amazed they can do that on tv, deeply weird and severely gross. I don't know if it's "good", but I'm glad I saw it and think other weirdos should try it. Not your average stand up special.

Have you seen the Sarah Sherman HBO special yet? Early Waters vibes, but in candy colors, with the elder statesman of filth making an appearance...

Oohhh. En ehdi miettiä tänään, mutta ilmoittaudun huomiselle. Uh oh. 👀

Thanks Steph! Kind of feeling those same smart, curious and fun vibes on AP's show that Radio Misterioso transmitted back in the day.

Fun is always good, too!

Oh, nice! I've only read short stories from both. I was just skimming a Melville omnibus with stories and poems, and there was a poem called The New Rosicrucians, so wondering how interested he was in mystical ideas.

Absolutely! It was also a nice continuation of your terrific conversation with Jeremy Vaeni, sitting in silence and all.

You're right in the target audience for this! I put it on going to sleep thinking I'd fall asleep to it (and have nice weird dreams), but suddenly it was 90 minutes later and I was still wide awake. 😀
