I don’t think that conflicts with the skeet you quoted. But I disagree that coming out against ICE is a risk. On the immigration front specifically, “these deportations are raising grocery prices” is a damn good argument

I think you want to talk about the story that is in the news. Talk about ICE while they’re terrorizing Minneapolis and affordability other times. The problem is they don’t WANT to talk about ICE so they pivot away from it to another topic. It makes them seem braindead

The problem is Republicans lowered taxes on Americans but that was counteracted by businesses hoarding their profits for themselves. Individuals making over $100k annually should probably pay more taxes but there’s a huge chunk of the population that can’t afford to.

I think a large part of that comes from House members being more accountable to voters than Senates members. I don’t completely hate him as speaker, though, since he wasn’t openly hostile with progressives like Pelosi and any other option would probably be worse.
