Why is this not on the news instead of hounding them about the budget?

A very good point that is not considered by most. The prospect of anti EU government makes it difficult to negotiate anything short term.
There should however be framework discussion in case a pro Europe government emerges from the current chaos.

No he couldn't. He can't just announce it and we're back in. It's a lengthy process that all EU members would have to agree with. And that's unlikely because if Reform gets in at the next elections then they'd just pull us out again.
