That movie came out just before my 10 year reunion. Mine was far less exciting! 😂

It was a bizarre way to vote in 2024, especially after the shitty job he did during his first administration. At least some of them are figuring out that the burner is hot and it hurts!

Still not sure about the farmers yet.

I wonder if it's because we've found better alternate materials for some of the applications that traditionally relied on titanium exclusively?

He's on the Trump diet.

Agreed. Other than a few drinks on Christmas Eve with family (when I'm not going anywhere), I rarely indulge in alcohol, let alone any other substances.

I have never played a traditional WH40K tabletop game. But I'm fully immersed in the books, video games and lore of the setting, some of which comes from the codices for the different factions in the tabletop games!

At least in the past, when solid actors did projects "for the money" they didn't abandon any sense of ethics (thinking about Sir Alec Guinness doing Star Wars and then after its success, suggesting that Sir John Gielgud do a something mainstream, leading to him appearing in Arthur).

I personally believe the world is ready for a dystopian Halifax.

It's especially weird since Franklin isn't even an American! He's a Canadian creation and Kids Can Press hasn't been particularly thrilled with this use of their work.

Not an unrealistic scenario, as I could see the SV billionaires dividing the country into techno-fiefs if they were ever to get their way.

That was the thing that made me fall out of love with academic medicine. My clinical trials work and clinical/med school teaching wasn't really valued by the department and wouldn't count for much when it came to promotion. After a few years, I went solo practice and tailored it to preferences.

Where the hell is the rest of Canada, outside of Quebec? Why are we always an afterthought?! 😂

I get the feeling that English Canada is too boring for cyberpunk dystopia!

Yup! Larian's past naming conventions were a little off. I haven't looked at any of the older Divinity titles other than the Divinity: Original Sin games.

And at the same time, it sounds like the Liberals want to push high-speed rail in stages with Ottawa to Montreal as the first leg (makes sense since they’re big cities relatively close). It’s going to be a huge bag of things.

Same as the dismissive “it’s just locker room talk” after the Access Hollywood tape surfaced.

I just saw what documentary he narrated. 😬

I really wish they had stuck with that acronym!

It's up there with the initial for the HST in Atlantic Canada: the blended sales tax (BST), which quickly became known as the "bullshit tax" resulting in the name change.

Do you think that Carney's crime bill was pitched at wooing those 905 voters back to the Liberals?
December 11, 2025 at 11:52 PM
And even then, if they cut the margins too fine (easy to do after the massive swing to Dems seen in the TN-07 special election) redistricting might blowup in their faces. If the GOP botches healthcare coverage (high probability), the wrath of voters could do some really funny things.

It's a real competition between Lutnick, Bessent and Hassett to see who can travel further up Trump's arse. They're absolutely pathetic!
