Olivia Nuzzi is like AI

being forced on us, can't give a decent answer, won't go away

she's legit a terrible person and a terrible journalist
(and we should say that)
this should be the end of her career and that it isn't (so far) is a complete loss of personal and professional standards

ICE detain U.S. citizen for looking Somali—use illegal chokehold to tackle him to ground.

Man repeatedly begs agents to look at his digital passport ID—they refuse.

Drove him 7 miles away before releasing him alone into Minnesota snow storm—told him to "walk home" in freezing weather advisory.

There is actually an example of a middle-income nation that was dragged into civil war by a bunch of geriatrics and neckbeards. That country was called Yugoslavia and people murdered their neighbors with axes.
that's cool, man, but have you tried the taste of a refreshing matcha latte

Today, we remember the fourteen young women whose lives were stolen at Polytechnique Montréal 36 years ago.

Their names are a solemn reminder of the devastating toll of gender-based violence — and the responsibility that comes with our remembrance.

Our media ecosystem entices us to fixate on "people’s self-destruction, watching them be undone by greed, infidelity, narcissism, and a litany of disordered behavior," writes @aselrod.bsky.social. The lurid details of Olivia Nuzzi's transgressions and the popularity of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" derive from the same culture of voyeurism.

Speaking of House GOP conference, when a group is in danger they pull together. But at a certain point the Titanic isn't "in danger"; it's sinking. And at that moment, one person looks at another and says, "I never liked you, BITCH!" and throws a punch. This seems like where we are in the House.

Congressman Henry Cuellar was indicted for money laundering, bribery, and conspiracy, allegedly taking about $600,000, mostly from Azerbaijan, to influence U.S. policy.

President Donald Trump pardoned Cuellar, because Trump supports money laundering, bribery, and conspiracy.
Trump announces a pardon of Henry Cuellar: "I am hereby announcing my full and unconditional PARDON of beloved Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar, and Imelda. Henry, I don’t know you, but you can sleep well tonight — Your nightmare is finally over!"

This is looking really good for the Dems. They might just pull off a win, but even if they don't it will be close (this was a +22 win for the GOP in 2024). The Dems are winning in Montgomery County which they lost by 20 points in 2024!

Montgomery County is the largest county reporting any votes so far. Behn (D) is outperforming Harris there by 21 points. Assuming the Election Day vote is redder, that's not a great sign for her. (Remember, she needs to outperform by at least 22 to win.)

Credit to Turner and Wicker for actually drawing a line here; he's also tacitly confirming they feel they were lied to, which would further explain why they're coming off the top rope
Rep. Mike Turner on the double strike to comply with Hegseth's orders: "If that occurred, that would be very serious and I agree that would be an illegal act…This is completely outside of anything that has been discussed with Congress and there is an ongoing investigation."

This is not some kind of "gotcha" moment for the antivaxxers. Dear Dr Prasad, SHOW US THE EVIDENCE and HOW YOU ASSESSED CAUSALITY.

Also, explain why this is only a USA phenomenon.

Until these questions are answered, this is more RFK Jr nonsense, akin to recent CDC shenanigans.

Bottom line

-VAERS is an early-warning system, not evidence of risk.
-It contains unverified, unfiltered, and often irrelevant reports.
-It cannot establish causation, calculate risk, or reflect real frequencies of vaccine injuries.
