My favourite type of thickness!

Started season 2, writing definitely seems slightly off from the start

Does 7-11 sell cheapo heatlocker burgers in the US as well, or is that just a local adaptation? Can't remember seeing any US media showing anyone eat a 7-11 burger

I mean, i enjoyed californication.

At least from what i've seen in season 1, she's a solidly written, cohesive character. Yeah, the dad's a very likeable character in a way, in the spesific framing of the show, but also definitely somewhat of a monster

I actually like Debra a lot, as far as season 1 goes, anyway, because she seems like a person who manages living with undiagnosed ADHD quite well

Cabbage is really underrated, it has a reallly huge range of flavour profiles depending on what you do with it, and it can take some heat before wilting

Knuckle jet is pretty much a standalone wttw sequel mixing in a lot of stuff from the inbetween games, while also being a new game format for us

Knaus is actually in our next game, he's moved in with anastasia as her orphanage manager/vigilante understudy

I still the 'underworld being a cohesive map including the dungeons and interacting with the overworld' thing was a really neat idea, for 2016. Totk kinda touched on that later, but not in the same way

Game devs never really talk about this but there are a lot of housekeeping updates that need to be done for every release to patch possible engine exploits etc for years after release that tend to hack away at any funds you kept to do some real patches
oleivarrudi.bsky.social
We've just never had the spare change to actually afford it

I'd love to do a follow up to World to the West someday. eventhough it was hampered by unexpected development schedule changes (big investor pulled out at the last minute) and the game suffering from that, it's probably my favourite of the games we've made. most of its flaws are very easy to fix.

I'm basically enjoying it in a 1966 batman or troma way, there's a lot of good stuff if you don't take it too seriously

I’m sorry, but if you’re capitulating to several men who don’t own deodorant and are offended by an assassin fighting the rise of the KKK, you need to go sit in the corner and think about your life choices.

SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

Company leadership deemed the project too controversial for the moment, sources tell Game File

I feel like common-or garden black/white/green pepper are really underrated. as aromatic peppers and at hich enough doses, they can shift and complicate flavours pretty far, especially in dishes that have actual heat

Depends on how dynamic your scene lighting is, but usually you can get away with just a diffuse texture with alpha at that point

I'm certainly enjoying it. It feels like they knew what they were aiming for

My favourite technique for getting a neatly chopped side salad for single person meals that i developed through sheer laziness is taking a leaf from the main green and just wrapping everything else you want in the salad into that as a roll, and chopping that roll sidewise into 2mm pieces

O know john lithgow shows up at some point, looking forward to that
oleivarrudi.bsky.social
Yeah i'm all in now that i realize it's firmly in the 'high camp' category
oleivarrudi.bsky.social
I did enjoy it though. But it was very silly
oleivarrudi.bsky.social
Haha i finished the first season and now i pretty much have to read the first book to figure out what the hell they were thinking, this went off the rails pretty fast

Never watched Dexter back when it originally ran, but i'm watching it now because i learned the incidental music was done by the same composer who did the score for Arkane's Dishonored
