I'm happy for Eddie Howe to have a while longer to sort things out for a bunch of reasons, which can be organised conveniently by season:

1. Saved #nufc from relegation when it looked nailed on

2. First cup final *and* Champions League qualification in over 20 years

Just glad to see #nufc putting two fingers up to the Stop the Boats knuckle draggers.

My club has chosen its side and we can be proud of that.

Like the City Council said last year - you're a Geordie from the day you choose to make Newcastle your home.

Welcome one and all.

It's obviously easy to say it with hindsight etc, but think the team selection was poor today. BFG clearly knackered. Gordon as useful as a useless thing all season. And surely Willock/Barnes deserved to go again? #NUFC

#NUFC if you boo our players taking the knee you condone racism and discrimination. Look at the dressing room photo we have black and white players of many religions a true fan supports all the players.

After 3 years of chasing the young German centreback, Newcastle United #NUFC are about to sign Malick Thiaw (pronounced Mal-ick Tch-ow) for a reported fee of £35m including add-ons.

Why has Eddie Howe’s & the club's interest never waned? Let’s break down what the 24-year-old will bring to SJP 🧵🔽

Three little words - "not for sale" - have been repeated countless times in response to Isak interest. Only now is that going to be tested
