The “Australian hero” is Ahmed al Ahmed, a Muslim and refugee from Syria, who was shot multiple times after disarming one of the gunmen. People have raised over $2 million to support him and his family through his recovery from surgery. I guess that doesn’t fit her narrative

Thanks Ms P I think you’re right to be bitter and jaded - me too. This one is a doozy that even caught me off guard

I think I’m in shock because it’s so unexpected in any context, let alone this guy. I’m also incredibly sad for my friend. After so many bad relationships he was the one. The love of her life. Now the fuckwit has done this

I know this man well, we love him. He’s stayed in our home. I just don’t understand this at all. He was one of the most laidback people I know. He had a gun because he was a butcher and did home kills. Turns out it was illegal. Turns out he was unhinged

They are absolutely brilliant - channelling 70’s prog rock but next level. I’ve followed them since they were teenagers as one of them (Cook Craig) is a family friend. They’ve come a long way for a bunch of kids from Geelong / Colac
