Haven’t been able to detour around the awful ramp in the Hollis St bike lane this week cause it’s been so busy I haven’t felt comfortable. It’s so jarring. Here’s some comments from people who feel the same- plan on following up on my ticket today

Construction closing bike lane near indoor parking on Hollis St
Proceed with caution pulling into traffic!!! Signal, make sure it’s safe (even if you have to stop), take the lane before you are able to pull back in.

So from the new-ish Greenway MUP section (from rotary), you cross at a ped intersection here (red) and then you’re on a shared ped-bike section until Cogswell where you turn down into a short bidirectional bike lane (yellow) - then cross the intersection to get onto the path that connects to Hollis

Any day a piece of AT is finally completed in this city (see also: miracle) is a heckin’ good day!!! Looks like the Upper Water/Barrington MUP in front of Purdys is done and usable!

Some much needed bike joy yesterday from #BikeHfx thanks to Kidical Mass Hfx. It’s been an exhausting month with all the anti-cycling vitriol being pushed by our elected officials- I needed to be reminded of all the joy bikes can bring, and what better way to do that but by seeing it in kids faces!

It’s been such a busy week I haven’t had time to email the bridge commission about these stupid freaking signs before the blind turn/construction- any feedback you have for me to pass on, please let me know

Also the connection is open from Barrington greenway direction right into the Hollis St bike lane. I was so excited I was wooping as I zoomed along until I came VERY close to a bad right hook at Duke. Good reminder to be very cautious and not zoom on Hollis St, esp. in traffic/rush hour!

Also the connection is open from Barrington greenway direction right into the Hollis St bike lane. I was so excited I was wooping as I zoomed along until I came VERY close to a bad right hook at Duke. Good reminder to be very cautious and not zoom on Hollis St, esp. in traffic/rush hour!
