The way I view this is, we know inherently that the law will not save us but that doesn't mean you still can't use it to slow them down. Make them work for it. Do not give them power they do not have. Make them fight for every inch of power.
I know it's frustrating when lawyers point out when something the administration is doing is not legal. But responding with "the law doesn't matter anymore" is really unhelpful and defeatist. Clarifying the law is important because it reminds us not to comply in advance and to resist and take action

Trump's war on Iran is illegal, immoral and will advance the MAGA Murder agenda against the will of Americans. Congress must convene an emergency session and end Trump's war.

YES. I’ve been saying this for weeks now. The reason that there is civil unrest in multiple cities throughout the country is because the Trump administration ordered ICE to engage in near-indiscriminate arrests, rounding up otherwise law-abiding people with no criminal records.
Miller "directed them to target Home Depot, where day laborers typically gather for hire, or 7-Eleven .. stores. Miller bet that he and a handful of agents could go out .. and arrest 30 people right away.

“Who here thinks they can do it?” Miller said .."

The White House Marching Orders That Sparked the L.A. Migrant Crackdown
After deportations fell short of President Trump’s campaign promises, federal agents summoned to a meeting in Washington were told to “just go out there and arrest illegal aliens.”

Trump has federalized at least 2,000 National Guard forces and reportedly plans to deploy troops to Los Angeles over Governor Newsom’s objections. If that happens, it will be the first time since 1965 that a president has sent troops into a state without a state request. 1/19

Andry José Hernández Romero, I remember you, even if I do not know how to articulate my horror, rage, & sorrow at your treatment by my government.

No one has heard from you in 43 days.

As vigil, I’m posting a photo of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

NEW from @nytimes.com: A bone-chilling account. A Venezuelan man detained alongside the 238 sent to El Salvador on March 15 seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. His name isn't among the names of those sent to CECOT that day and no one spotted him among those men. He's just... gone.

Q: "How do you respond to Governor Newsom?"

Sen. Van Hollen: "I think Americans are tired of elected officials or politicians who are all finger to the wind...Anybody who can't stand up for the Constitution and the right of due process doesn't deserve to lead."

Fascism and the English Language:
As the MAGA regime’s ongoing assault on our lives and our loved ones ramps up, many of us feel tongue-tied - at a loss for the words to express what is happening, let alone marshal resistance to it.

Extraordinary moment — Nancy Pelosi issues a statement calling on Democratic senators to reject the House funding bill, i.e. to defy Chuck Schumer.

"Democratic senators should listen to the women," she says, referring to Murray/DeLauro who want a 1-month stopgap bill instead.
