As an HIV patient, he was erroneously vilified and mischaracterized as Patient Zero of the North American AIDS epidemic.

I’m old enough to remember the Berlin Wall and I lived through the Cold War. Russia was never our friend, only very briefly an ally & then turned on us again. Those in very powerful positions who choose to ignore history are dooming all of us to repeat it again.
