looking through HiveAI's ToS, the original claim (that the ToS says all data will be used for training) is false, only the custom model data is said to be used for training. i agree that they're probably using the data from bsky to train as well, but they could also just scrape the site anyway

I posted on Mastodon that people’s experience on Mastodon tends to be tainted by the fact that newcomers will likely get scolded by random strangers long before they can find their footing, and within three hours I had this lovely response from a random (white Irish) stranger.

'Getting scolded by strangers' is White USAian Codespeak for 'I failed to adopt any of the societal norms, I insisted they adopt my own norms, and people were mad at me because I love Trump'
