She was so irritated that she didn't even notice the plankton. She was silent, but I already knew it was time to go back. I don't remember what I told her—maybe I couldn't find a good excuse for my request—but she never agreed to go to the beach at night with me again.

She was talking loudly on the phone, but I was captivated by something else. There was plankton in the water that glowed in the moonlight. We swam for a while, but she quickly got cold and could barely contain her irritation at the woman, while I stared at the glowing water.

I truly can't stand the American president and his bloodsuckers, and I have physical reasons for this. I work at a European corporation's plant, which was closely tied to its US subsidiaries due to tariffs. The plant is now operating at a maximum of 30% of what it was when I arrived.
