But if they DID want Denji to transform all along, why did they send Yoshida in the first place? Why give someone a mission they were never supposed to actually accomplish? It's a weird mystery, and I'm looking forward to it being solved.

The first place she takes him is a karaoke place where a bunch of men with bats line up and take turns attacking Denji in a single file. Wow. That certainly doesn't seem like a set up, does it? What a weird unsuspicious coincidence.

He doesn't turn into Chainsaw Man when he's taunted on TV, he doesn't turn into Chainsaw Man when attacked, and this lasts for months (I think? The time flow in part two is kind of hard to measure) Yoshida's plan is working, so why the Hell does Public Safety suddenly replace him?

And he didn't just listen to the part about Public Safety killing Nayuta, we see Denji putting some real genuine thought into the other stuff Yoshida said about Chainsaw Man as well.

While reading Chainsaw Man on a week to week basis it felt like Yoshida's "just talk to Denji and explain the situation as directly and clearly as possible" plan was doomed to fail because Denji wouldn't listen, but on a reread it's clear Denji DID listen.

It's been a hot sexy minute since I've posted a Chainsaw Man theory, but I've realized something I feel compelled to share: Public Safety intentionally sabotaged Yoshida's attempts to prevent Denji from turning into Chainsaw Man.

The "Look Back" exhibit in Japan revealed that the Shark Kick version of Reze is blonde and has a haircut that looks like Kyomoto's while the Shark Kick version of Denji is a brunette woman who looks like Fujino.
Shark Kick was a Yuri this entire time.

It's been years, but honestly I'm still a little pissed off that Bottoms didn't do better at the box office. Has it become a cult classic yet? If not, how do I make that happen? There's got to be an audience for violent lesbian sex comedies out there somewhere.

Roan's whacky adventure filled with slapstick and psychological torture comes to an end when he reaches the place he's going to be publicly disected. Why are so many people excited about watching a public dissection? I would not want to see that. No one should want to see that.
