Don't get my hopes up for good writing, I'm trying to keep my expectations at rock bottom. I got excited last week that them going to Hell and meeting a powerful devil might lead to something cool and interesting and that was a mistake.

Having seen the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, yeah, I get that. I can actually picture specifically one of the moments of Leatherface acting cute that I think Fujimoto is talking about. He's the most terrifying killer in the movie, but also has these small moments that humanize him.

There are alternative sweeteners you can try, have you attempted monk fruit extract? Do you also have bad reactions to maple syrup and honey?

Oh! I actually made these as a kid and they're pretty tasty and fun to eat from what I remember.

Go to Hell, bug guy shows up, leave Hell, bug guy gets eaten. that's all we've gotten for three weeks. I was willing to embrace the trip to Hell being so short if Bug guy was a genuine threat, but him going down immediately like all the rest makes going to Hell feel pointless.

I remember feeling a little bored by the falling devil fight only for that to end with gun pointed at Nayuta Denji immediately in his underwear and tied to a chair which I did NOT see coming, I'm hoping we get a plot twist even more out of left field than that.

It's because these months-long extended action sequences are always annoying to read on a weekly basis, and even if this wasn't being read weekly this specific sequence has gotten pretty repetitive. I'm tired of watching Denji eat things, this isn't a mukbang channel.

This is going to look great when it's animated, but right now I've officially reached the "okay I'm ready for this fight to be over now" phase. Having a seemingly unique devil show up to seemingly break the rhythm of the fight only for Denji to just eat it again like the rest? End please.

They're either unaware of that or not interested in exploring it in any meaningful way.

Fun fact: we actually have way more than five senses, about 9 to 21 depending on who you ask including vestibular, kinesthesia, and time. I think left-right distinction might fall under vestibular's domain because it has to do with spacial awareness? Pochita must have nibbled off a piece of him.
