You would think that the 8 GOP Senators who are SO OUTRAGED that Jack Smith subpoenaed their phone records that they want $1 million compensation would bring him in to testify IN A PUBLIC HEARING to explain why he did this. But no, they don’t want to do that. I wonder why?

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

what do you want to leave to the next generation and loved ones when you go? i’d like them to still have trees, clean air, water, soil, biodiversity, wilderness, freedom, democracy. but also real good playlists, stories & enough money that they can take time off, process things, go adventuring.

So much power in extending awareness, decency, love and just some fun and joy.

So much power for all of us when we feel seen and feel like we belong.

May we share more of that.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

I’ve been saying this for years. Our reliance on and subservience to the fossil fuel industry has allowed China to pass us up on the technology that makes green energy possible.
This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.
China’s CO2 emissions have been flat or falling for past 18 months, analysis finds
World’s biggest polluter on track to hit peak emissions target early but miss goal for cutting carbon intensity

My senators are Cornyn and Cruz. WTH, I’ll give them a call and urge them to do the right thing.
There’s still time to call senators. Let me explain. Sorry not sorry about the cat. He’s also really upset about this deal.

From street marches to court battles to the ballot box - we’ve challenged the power of this exceptionally unpopular president.

The lesson from each success we've had is that we need to ramp the political pressure up, always up, not back down, now more than ever.

If you think the people throwing Great Gatsby-esque parties for themselves, while millions were denied their food assistance, are all of a sudden going to grow a conscience and save affordable healthcare, you clearly have not been paying attention.

Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.

Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

As long as NYT is asking “Did women ruin the workplace” can they also ask:
•Did men ruin safe workplaces?
•Did men ruin domestic safety?
•Did men ruin public safety?
•Did men ruin global peace?
Or is a clear “YES” to all these questions just too difficult for fragile men to accept—so NYT avoids it?🤔
