€20m seems like a crazy fee and it’s a “good sale” in normal conditions. But the optics of doing so after the first two Bundesliga results of the season aren’t great. And it doesn’t seem like anyone is coming in to replace him.

SC Freiburg supporters had to travel 400km each way for a Sunday 19:30 kickoff at 1. FC Köln in the Bundesliga, with tomorrow being a work day.

Heidenheim away - This is a really nice light blue, and I really like the combination of dark blue & white on the collar and cuffs. The wood-pattern stripes really let this down though - it ought to be a lot more subtle

What an absolutely huge game today. Won’t be easy with Kiel’s form, but a win today could mean Champions League football. Hope the pressure doesn’t get to us.
