I am a soap opera fan, and I've written about them - though I wasn't enamored of the sci-fi elements and themes of that particular show.
He was definitely one of a kind. That phenomenon made it hard for audiences - or casting directors - to see him as anyone or anything else.

EBTG has been a cornerstone in my collection, too. One of the acts I've purchased on vinyl, cassette, CD, MP3 and then (again) on vinyl. (Not giving into the cassette nostalgia, though...the sound is 💩!)

I miss seeing it on CBS, with the "Special" intro.
Once it left CBS, ABC hacked it up in edits, and I'm not thrilled it's on Apple now.

I think most of the delivery services slashed jobs a few months ago.....and are discovering AI can't drive to someone's door and deliver a package!

That being said, if I was locked in a room with nothing but Heino's music playing on a loop I'd probably recant that statement pretty quickly.

As someone who has experienced a hellish stretch of time (7-8 years) trying to find a competent, knowledgable GI doc, I can empathize with frustrations as well as happy tears when the right doc comes along.
