The Dagger of Amon Ra initially had copy protection. When you failed it, the characters would make fun of you. The CD version removed this. But (most) of the voice lines were recorded, even though they're not accessible! youtu.be/1Xv2kTn-Wac

A few days ago I released a patch which replaces the unhinged movement system in Tex Murphy: Under A Killing Moon with mouselook + WASD. Turns out the sequel is pretty much the same, so here's a mod for The Pandora Directive.

Really saddened over what Adventure Gamers has become. It was THE resource for adventure game news for almost 25 years. Seeing my first games reviewed there in the early 00s was the biggest thrill in the world. To see it turn into THIS is heartbreaking. Enshittification destroys everything.

Sigh. I dunno why @adventuregamers.bsky.social insists on keeping this phrase in. We did ask them to correct it. It’s easily verifiable that the VAs in Old Skies are professionals who were paid fairly and aren’t in it for “the exposure.” To say otherwise is an insult to all the actors’ hard work.
