This right here. I love my art friends and art community, but I'm also trying to run a business as a freelancer/selling products and I need the reach! Every time we scatter to different platforms it's a little harder to exist as a working artist whose primary visibility is only online.

As much as folks might not want to believe it, artists who sell their work cannot survive exclusively on platforms that cater to primarily other artists. The Circulating The Same Five Dollars™️ model can't feed us or pay bills for long. We need places where we can be seen and discovered.

James is pretty committed to not lying, and only does so if absolutely necessary. The only time he consistently lies is about his own wellbeing - he's the king of saying he's "fine" when he is, in fact, very far from fine.

Now, my OC Holland, that man is a performer at heart. He's just about as musical as a person could be. He knows how to play guitar, piano, harmonica, drums, ukulele, flute, and didgeridoo.

James doesn't play any instruments. He's never been particularly musically inclined. He doesn't even listen to very much music either. Bonus fact: one of his big pet peeves is people playing loud music in public.
