This isn’t about individual agents alone. It’s about leadership, policy, and a culture that normalizes escalation.

Exactly! “alarmed” after the fact doesn’t cut it. Actions speak louder than words, and it’s past time they actually do something meaningful to hold accountability.

This is heartbreaking. No child should have to experience that in their classroom. It also really shows the human side of these policies and how much people are struggling.😔

This exchange really exposes a double standard: people who attacked officers on Jan. 6 were pardoned despite clear video evidence, yet here we are seeing a civilian killed in broad daylight and defenders rush to justify it. Both situations deserve honest scrutiny.

People often forget that not talking about policy doesn’t mean there aren’t concrete plans behind the scenes. Historical context really matters when evaluating rhetoric versus action.

Glad to see Congress reasserting its constitutional role. We should be lowering costs at home, not launching unauthorized foreign conflicts. Bipartisan action like this matters.

Agreed. A state that treats its citizens as enemies has already lost its legitimacy. #USA

I hope so too. The professionalism of military leadership and respect for the Constitution is something I still have faith in.

Calling yourself a free speech champion while banning a rainbow flag is pure hypocrisy. Forcing schools to show a political anti-abortion video but censoring LGBTQ+ expression is the real indoctrination.

No one deserves to feel unsafe just buying groceries. 🤦‍♂️ This is disturbing and needs real scrutiny. Real fast!

This speaks to a deep moral failure, not just a political one. When rhetoric excuses death rather than honoring human dignity, it contradicts the Gospel at its core. Silence or tolerance from the wider Church also carries responsibility.

Such an important reminder. Dry trees become a serious fire risk so fast. Better safe than sorry.

You’re not wrong. Transparency matters, especially when it comes to accountability at that level. People deserve answers.
January 14, 2026 at 12:05 AM
Facts. Blame is easier than accountability, and hypocrisy somehow keeps getting a pass.

This is exactly it. Cutting healthcare and food assistance for working people while expanding ICE budgets is a political choice, and it harms communities already under pressure.

It’s heartbreaking to see a program with such a legacy compromised like this. Integrity shouldn’t have a price tag, and it’s frustrating that short-sighted decisions are undermining fearless journalism.😔

Thanks for sharing this, such a good reminder! Even if the vaccine doesn’t fully prevent the flu, it’s reassuring to know it can keep us out of the hospital. Definitely motivating me to get mine this season.

This is horrifying. U.S. citizens should never be treated like criminals while working their job, and the fact that he was dumped bleeding and alone after asserting his citizenship is deeply upsetting.

Congrats on your weight loss journey

A huge step backward for the planet and for US leadership on climate.
January 13, 2026 at 10:25 PM
Exactly, people forget that Iran’s current government didn’t appear out of nowhere. The US and UK’s intervention in the ’50s directly shaped what came after. History really matters when understanding today’s politics.

She was speaking a truth that many could not or would not see. It is chilling how quickly warnings can turn into reality when we stop paying attention. We must stay informed and hold leaders accountable.
January 13, 2026 at 10:20 PM
Couldn’t agree more. Imagine the difference real leadership would make.
January 13, 2026 at 10:16 PM
I can’t even imagine how frustrating that must be. Thank you for speaking up and sharing your experience.
