I am reading this book called "Humanish" by Justin Gregg, and it is super interesting.
I don't usually read a lot of nonfiction, but I really have to recommend this one. It talks about how/why we are likely to humanize things, and it's got a lot of good info and perspectives!

2025 is the year that I am learning to create art. I have a lot of different things I want to learn and I am not good at any of them.
I'm starting with coloring and I've picked up 2 really cute mixed media journals that I am going to turn into art journals where I play and experiment.

I was accepted to the grad school program I applied for! I'm pursuing my MLIS so that I can continue to grow and climb in libraries, and hopefully relocate from the deep red state I am currently in.

I have this weird thing with first drafts. I worry a lot about whether I am doing them "right" but what even is "right" with a first draft? I think I get hung up on that a lot and it keeps me from just sitting down and writing? Not sure how to overcome that??
