Can I add that the societies these people modelled their anarchism after still had prolific r*pe, extreme misogyny and rampant p*derasty. Pre-civilized societies are very diverse and there are defo some positive things we can learn, but somehow a bunch of anarchists decided to learn the worst ones.

Can't stress it enough how much of "we're wolves not sheep made for murder and revenge" specifically as an anarchist tendency was developed by a bunch of anthropologists and philosophers who saw still rather hierarchical patriarchal macho warrior cultures and went "this is the real freedom".
