Looking like a SMT demon lol.
There are first-person knife modes for rebirth, but that loads in and could've loaded to the bottom along with the puzzles. Minor gripes for a nearly 20 year old game, but eh.
Still wild on how Capcom got it all to work on a DS no less. I understand the bit-crush, but the framerate was 98% smooth.

But had the gameplay been at the top, the bottom could've been useful for quick-access to inventory. Simply keeping the inventory always on at the bottom for quick-item use, change to map, change to files, etc... would've been fine.

In any case, the use of two-screens could've been better. I understand what they did was to make it easier (leave the map on the top, glow for health correlation, and show current weapon and ammo).
A lot of DS games, & consequently, 3DS games, do that and seldom use both screens to its full extent.

You know- you kind of blur the line between fan-art and OC art because as far as I'm concerned, you're Maelorn's biggest fan.

Also finished Shaman King - Master of Spirits for the GBA. Not worth mentioning for its own post, but it moves around like a Metroid-Vania (developed by Konami), but is really an action-platformer with a lot of fluff.
I probably would've enjoyed this more as a teen. It's an okay game. 2.8/5.

I am not immune to adorable rat/mouse based games- especially if they're fun or have a bad-ass art style like MAD RAT DEAD.

Sometimes good chapters are ruined by being too long or too short.
As long as you get what you want to get across for your story, then it's fine. But I've only done writing and my degree is reading classic lit. I have little knowledge in comics outside of a few graphic novels.
