I really don't like this "NPC people" mentality that's been popping up lately. This is objectively a manner of dehumanizing people, and history has shown countless times what a dangerous road that is.

I wholeheartedly believe that in an alternate timeline, my sona would've been a shark. Likely a pink shark, since I've had a long-running obsession with them that led to me creating Leo (who I couldn't be happier with).

Denna reminds me of how Orcina used to be (in a meta sense), both in appearance and personality. I don't think there was any sort of subconscious influence, but it's ironic that the character made to be an anti-Orcina is so much like an older version of her.

Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.

There's something to be said about not letting others' opinions dictate your life and trusting your own intuition, but abandoning community in favor of total self-achievement is what's caused many of our ills in contemporary life. We need a happy medium
