Living in a house with only solar can be surprising. We actually have two refrigerators. An apartment size 7.5 cubic feet DCfridge And a smaller chest fridge We keep drinks in the smaller fridge so the temperature be turned up if we hav cloudy weather. Perishables in the other fridge remain at 40 F

So we are getting more comfortable using our solar electricity system to cook. We have an electric expresso machine that doesn’t impact our system much. We can also use an induction kettle to heat water and a crockpot during the day of course
