Here in the UK most cats are outdoor and indoor types. Avalynne Kitten (Miss) was for many years the CEO of a very successful shrew-juggling corporation, but has grown lazy now she's 10 years old, and leaves the rodent-shuffling to younger cats.

Avalynne Kitten is my primary carer: when I have a bad apnoea she slaps me awake and stays by my side til my breathing improves.
I realise she does this to protect her meal ticket, but still. It's nice.

Although Charlie Biscuits liked to smell of dead fish, and dressed himself in flowers and cobwebs.

It's been an absolute delight (apart from all the seams!) to complete Jessica Wifall's Festival Of Lights blanket in Scheepjes Organicon yarn.
I've learnt loads of neat tricks to finesse my work, and relished the vibrant colours during the grey weather.
Now time to rest.

138 shapes, each with 3 or 4 sides, equals a LOT of seams to stitch. And having worked at it since Wednesday, there don't seem to be any fewer than at the start. Sigh.
