Reflecting on the year, this is the first one in several where I feel it's really been great. Leaving the house I shared with the late husband felt like the end of a chapter. The start of the next one had me settling into a new house and starting a new relationship, both of which have brought joy!

One round trip to see the family complete! Over 10 hours of driving and saw both mine and the bf's sides before heading home. Next year, we'll be staying home.

I've been suffering from chronic pain in the last year. It affects my joints and skin where there is prolonged pressure. I'm in the medical pipeline trying to find a solution, but particularly bad flare up yesterday is making me wish it could be sorted sooner.

I went to see Pillion last night with some friends, wearing some light leathers for the occasion.
Good fun, but creaking about on leather seats through such a quiet film was a little awkward.

I've been going to the gym semi-regularly for two years now. Only after a visit to the physio yesterday have I realised I've been doing a bunch of leg exercises badly and I feel a bit of a fool. I always fatigued quickly on leg day, it turns out you shouldn't be using your quads for everything.

There's been a lot of life that's happened in the last few months, which is why I've rarely been here. Things are going very well with the new man, we've met each other's parents and he's just moved his toothbrush into my bathroom. It feels like like I've known him for years and couldn't be happier!

Birmingham leather weekend was a lot of fun! Managed a little less than planned due to it falling over a difficult anniversary, but still managed some socialising and sold a bunch of old gear at the second hand market.
It's a fun event and it was really nice seeing people travel for it.

Does anyone else have issues with the bluesky app logging itself out? Sometimes it'll be couple of weeks, but recently it's as frequent as every other day.

Gay life doesn't make sense sometimes. I can't tell you why holding hands on the sofa while watching a film is more intimate than naked wrestling and getting sloppily bred, but it is.

I'm very much enjoying getting stronger and seeing the changes in my body, but my thighs don't fit into my chaps any more.
With my shoulders also being too big for my shirts and bar vest, I've barely got any leather that's fits me any more. It's a body image boost that my wallet is crying about.

After years of using an electric razor to trim around the mohawk, I tried a wet shave. I might be converted!

I've had a couple of really good weekends, although it appears I've now picked up a bug that's hit me pretty hard. While I'm feeling a little sorry for myself, I'm going to reminisce on the good times of late.

I now have a gym within walking distance. Until I'm able to get my own setup sorted, I'm going to lean into being a Gym Wanker for a bit.

It's been such a long time, but I've developed a bit of a crush on someone who seems genuinely compatible. I'm not going to put too many expectations on it going anywhere, but it's just nice to feel that there's a possibility

I have joined a public gym around the corner to give it a solid try before investing in my own kit. I've had anxiety about gyms, but with the confidence my PT has given me in exercise, it didn't terrify me to visit.
