The celestial bovine believes itself a placid cow, but has become a parasite. It is chained to nothing but itself. It charges at anything red, unable to fathom the idea that it has scarred from battles bearing the red flags it despises. To help is to be trampled.

How do I "grin and bear it" when all my teeth are broken?

Ink on cold press paper, size A3

I chose the most grossly inappropriate masking tape so that it would rip the paper as I tore it off. Damage that goes deep down into the medium itself, irreparably torn to its core.

I like showing these because certain people think art is just the end product of an idea they had.

I want to show that thought, dedication and soul went into every brush stroke, every line placement, every decision, to get there.

That's it, I'm calling it done. Sometimes you have to acknowledge you don't have the EXP to do something you invisioned - and - give yourself credit for how far you've come. If you know me at all, this too is progress.

This is where I'm at, I ended up adding gouache which I personally don't like, but it's above my skill level for ink-only at the moment.

I think there's a layer or two of washes and lining to redefine what I shifted with gouache and it'll be done
