Yes. Perhaps it's a bit nitpicky. But it is more redolent of the spring - or perhaps a New Year running from March - than of January.

Probably based on the misconception that there was an undiscovered planet between Mars and Jupiter that would have had 3 moons, since Jupiter had 4 and Earth one. By this reasoning, Mars would have been supposed to have 2 moons.

With respect Shchedryk is a song to welcome in the spring "Bountiful, bountiful...." I think it's only a Christmas carol in the West.

Naturally, the orchestrator, Leontovych, was murdered by Bolshevik bandits, probably for loot rather than politics.

You can devise solutions for individual incentives, for corruption, for power balancing, but if it is the People themselves who are corrupt...you can't fix that.

The only solution I see is for the People to relearn the virtue of not touching the stove by virtue of stove-touching.

From the 1930s, for those in the know, Heidegger tends to stand out. Geiger and Lorenz follow somewhat behind. Heisenberg and Hahn are largely forgiven. Yet the likes of Planck and Kelsen are far more depressing.

Ofc, we didn't actually invade Finland. We "assisted" the new "legitimate government" who "asked" for help after tiny Finland aggressively attacked USSR just as our army was peacefully massed on their previous border in attack formation.

Again. Imagine that happening today

So who(m) is "about this account" directed against? Or, at least, what is it's true purpose?

Maine coon?

Second, Doctorow is probably too doctrinaire. The platforms may be ultimately sustainable. They are valuable as a public service, but probably unprofitable as such. Although they are fantastically rich now, enshittification may be more a sign of inherent decline than a conspiracy against the laity.

Two problems. First, users tend to stick with large platforms with more money and fewer glitches. If more neutral accounts moved to platforms like this one the audience would increase and there'd be more funds to fix the glitches.

Indeed, the umlaut has nothing in particular to do with diaeresis; it is an abbreviated "e" superscript in fraktur/gothic/black letter to the relevant vowel.

As I understand from other criticism, the concern is that it might nudge Turkey from relatively benign neutrality to a more pro-Russian stance.

6/ If the transparency is limited to the user's "region", it may be proportionate. But if a poster hypocritically expressed very different sentiments in their DMs than in their posts, would it be "transparent" to publish the DMs? And what political context might govern the DMs that were published.

5/ Finally, assuming that "about this account" is effective in achieving transparency distracts how the setting uses account holders' personal data in unpredicted ways sometimes outside their control.
